Estate-Grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Middle Reach of the Russian River Valley
Since planting our first block in 1997, we have been passionate about growing Pinot Noir for exceptional local wineries including Williams Selyem, Siduri Wines, Papapietro Perry, Arista, C. Donatiello, and more. This same passion led us to producing our own wines starting with the 2011 vintage.
With the help of our winemaker Adam Lee of Siduri Wines, we released our first wines in the spring of 2013. The inaugural release of our estate-grown 2011 Pinot Noir was very limited, only 160 cases produced, and 90 cases of our 2012 Russian River Chardonnay. Both wines quickly sold out. Our second vintage gave us more opportunity to showcase the exceptional fruit we are grateful to farm. In 2014, we’ll release two Pinot Noirs, a Chardonnay, and our first Rosé of Pinot Noir from our Bucher Vineyard estate fruit.
We are excited to take the same dedication to produce the best wine from Bucher Vineyard. The best Pinot Noir starts in the vineyard, and we look forward to sharing our ‘ground to glass’ journey with you! ~ John Bucher
